Explore illustrative attendance scenarios using your expected registrants, audience source, and reminder setup. The model uses editorial assumptions rather than measured prediction data. Use it to consider your plan, then replace those assumptions with results from comparable webinars when available.

This model uses editorial assumptions, including 22, 35 and 52 percent reference scenarios and small checkbox adjustments. These are not measured industry benchmarks or guaranteed effects of reminders. Use your own attendance history for forecasts. Attendance can exceed this scenario, so allow capacity for a higher turnout. Built-in SMS requires Twilio, a mobile number and consent, and is sent 15 minutes before the session.

How this estimate is built

The model starts with illustrative anchors of 22 percent, 35 percent, or 52 percent for the selected reminder setup. These are editorial scenario assumptions, not verified averages or evidence that adding a reminder will produce a particular lift.

The selected audience source adjusts the scenario. Warm, mixed, and cold or paid audiences can behave differently, but those labels alone do not establish an attendance rate. Compare your own cohorts before treating a traffic source as the reason for a change.

The four checkboxes add editorial adjustments. The displayed range extends five percentage points either side of the model midpoint; it is not a statistical confidence interval. Actual attendance can fall outside it. Prefer results from comparable webinars, and account for small samples, audience changes, and different event formats.

What to do with the number

If you want to improve attendance, investigate reminder delivery, scheduling, audience fit, and the value of attending live. The model cannot identify the cause of a low result. Our guide to increasing webinar attendance covers twelve tactics you can prioritize using your own evidence.

If attendance meets your target but revenue does not, review conversion, offer value, and costs together. The webinar funnel diagnostic compares entered stage rates with illustrative reference points, and the webinar funnel strategy guide covers what to do about each stage. If you are still choosing a format, the live versus automated decision tool is the place to start, and the webinar payback calculator compares modeled revenue with the platform fee; include other costs in your budget as well.
